Mascoat Marine-DTM drastically reduces condensation and prevents water buildup, so vessel floors remain slip-proof and easy to navigate. When applied to wall and bulkhead constructions up to 4 mm thick, Marine-DTM can work in conjunction with conventional insulation methods to provide anti-condensation and a thermal barrier, and protect substrates for years to come. The water-based coating is extremely low in VOCs, making it ideal for use in confined spaces.

Mascoat Sound Control-dB greatly enhances the comfort and safety of those onboard workboats by reducing vibrational transfer of noise throughout a vessel. Application in engine rooms, bow thruster compartments and crew work and rest areas, protects those onboard from unnecessary and harmful noise. Not only does this protect shipowners from liability due to hearing loss, it also makes vessels more attractive to potential employees who want to know they’ll be working in a safe environment.

To keep vessels within IMO sound criteria Mascoat also offers VBS Isolation Mounts and Rail Systems.
